Tulsa County Sheriff Vic Regalado endorses Butterfield
Tulsa, Okla. – Conservative businessman and Trump Republican, Nathan Butterfield, launches campaign for Oklahoma’s First Congressional District. Butterfield, a 5th-generation Oklahoman, enters the race with the full backing of Tulsa County Sheriff Vic Regalado and pledges to fight alongside President Donald J. Trump to put America and Oklahoma first.
Butterfield is a successful businessman who has built multiple companies from the ground up–creating jobs, solving problems, and always doing the work. He is running for Congress to bring Oklahoma grit to Washington.
“President Trump is always working. I love that, because hard work is all I know. Washington has plenty of big talkers, President Trump could use more guys in Congress who know how to put in a hard day’s work and get things done,” said Butterfield.
Butterfield respects the highly successful business backgrounds of President Trump and Congressman Kevin Hern and believes Oklahoma would benefit from having a job creator and conservative businessman in Congress who isn’t owned by special interests. As your Congressman, Butterfield will always back our law enforcement and the rule of law, defend the Second Amendment, fight for Oklahoma’s oil and gas jobs, and get our Veterans the care they’ve earned.
“Nathan Butterfield is exactly the kind of leader Oklahoma’s First Congressional District needs right now. He represents the core conservative values that have long defined our state–faith, family, work, and the belief that our government works to serve its citizens, not the other way around. He’s not a career politician, he’s a businessman who has put in the work, taken risks, created opportunities, and understands the firsthand challenges facing small business owners and working families,” said Sheriff Vic Regalado.
Butterfield learned the value of hard work at a young age. When he was 12 he went with his grandmother to the bank and opened a savings account for $50. Then he got to work. In high school, he was detailing vehicles, bought and sold multiple vehicles for a profit, and worked at Pitts BBQ and Hammett House. During his junior year in high school, he started a carpet cleaning business then he went off to a small junior college, but when his carpet cleaning business took off, he dropped out and never looked back. In 2004, Butterfield shifted his company’s focus to disaster response and since 2004 he’s personally worked on every major hurricane that’s hit the United States.
“I’m a guy who has earned everything he’s gotten in life. I’ve lived the American Dream. That’s why I strongly believe in personal responsibility, local control, and defending Constitutional liberties. I want everyone else to be able to pursue their American Dream. And I know this, I’ll work with President Trump and Vice President Vance to crack down on the fraud and wasteful spending in government. I’m sick of these guys sitting on the couch collecting a check from hardworking Americans,” concluded Butterfield.
